In  2014 artist and VCA PhD Student Vincent Giles visited Portland. He asked members of the local community what they loved most about living in Portland. Their responses were documented and contribute to the state wide project 'Let Me Count The Ways', a Regional Training & Engagement project of the Faculty of VCA & MCM.

The links below are to contributions made by members of the Portland community. Portland is home to a diverse creative community, many of whom were keen to get involved in the project. While many are photographs, we also received some poetry and a quilt. The nice thing about all of the submissions was that they creatively demonstrate what these people find so enjoyable about Portland
